Special Dragons was founded in 2012 by George Bostory, a certified special education teacher and three time intercollegiate black belt karate champion. It was formed due to the lack of physical sport activities available to children with special needs. George envisioned combining his special-education background with his martial arts experience, and Special Dragons
​Karate was born.
